Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav:
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by flagging off ‘Dandi March’ from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad on 12th March, 2021. The celebrations started 75 weeks before our 75th anniversary of Independence and will end on 15th August, 2023.
Department of Higher Education and Department of School Education & Literacy have planned various activities under ‘आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव’.
On behalf of the local science college, Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan was organized on 11th August as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Freedom and an awareness rally was organized to commemorate the brave martyrs and great freedom fighters.
The rally was started from Malkapur Science College. In the rally, the students of the college created awareness among the people about Har Ghar Tricolor Abhiyan and commemorating the great work done by brave martyrs and great freedom fighters for the service of the country through various chants.
In this rally, the students created awareness by wearing costumes and spreading slogans.This most unique and best rally started from Malkapur city. This unique Tiranga awareness rally is being appreciated from all over the city. This public awareness was concluded by waving flower garlands to martyr Sanjay Singh Rajput, declaring Bharat Mata Ki Jai, and singing the national anthem in the melodious sound of the flute. In the meantime, the students created public awareness about the Tiranga in every house by performing a street play.
On this occasion President Moresh Mahajan, Vice President Secretary Dr. P. G. Mohta, Secretary Govind Baheti, Senior Journalist and Member Ramesh Umalkar, Hon. MLA Vasantrao Shinde, Principal B. B. Wankhede, R.S.Yo. Officer C. PM Ingale, R.N. Patil teachers, teachers, staff and students participated in large numbers.
